    Colombo 02 (House buy/sell/rent)

Finding living space in this urban city is easy if you have the right real estate agent. Most importantly it is prudent to consider whether you are going to buy or rent. If you plan to move to the city permanently, it is always wise to buy. Since the real estate market in Colombo is on the rise, your decision to buy a house will be a wise investment in future. There are many things that you have to consider before you make the purchase, the first being the type. It is a matter of personal choice whether to go for a house or an apartment, both of which are in abundance in this area. Once you are decided on the type of living space, the next thing to consider would be the size. It is pointless to buy a large 6 bedroom house if you are just a family of three. The rest of the process is pretty easy once you decide on the type and size of your living space.

There are many banks and financial organizations that come to your aid when buying property. Before making a purchase on your house or apartment, it is wise to do a survey of the different facilities and options that these organizations offer to make the process of purchasing easier.

One of the most distinct landmarks at present is World Trade Center, which rises up to 39 floors. It is currently home to the Colombo Stock Exchange and a large number of corporate offices. Right next to the World Trade Center is another landmark, which is the Bank of Ceylon tower, which was the tallest building in Colombo before the construction of the World Trade Center. Other significant landmarks are the Beira Lake, Viharamahadevi Park, Old Parliament Complex and Dutch Hospital Complex to name a few.
